S7: Insanity, Ideals, Infrastructure
Structural insanity is a base judgment of irrational works. Something mad is happening. To address this, the antipharmakon, the antivenom or antidote, is an ideal which presents itself as the thing which the insane thing is missing. The infrastructural challenge is then to encompass what is insane and to make it sane through infrastructure. If we are to take the reality that personal insanity will always exist, along with the reality of our ideals rather than positing that our ideals that we live in a good world that progresses through acts seriously, what do we end up with?
Should we make things better? This is the distinction between the ancient schools, to live in agreement with things or to deny them entirely. The ancients teach us both how to live in agreement with things as well as to discard things.
The other side of the coin of creative acts which bind us with insanity in an attempt to make something sane or worthwhile is to exit, destroy, or simply move away from the structural entity which is broken However, insofar as the entire world exists and keeps existing, we can move away from things in our perspective, but wouldn’t it be better to have some sort of thing which can encompass the whole world and all peoples, not just from a single first-person perspective? Nonetheless, it is for the benefit and use of the first-person perspective, as someone will have to intervene and that produces experience. The question as always, is what is to be done?
To exit or to enter? Either way, our ideals will become manifest in the second moment when our judgment meets our action and creations.
S8: The Ideal as the Second Moment
When something strikes one as wrong, the second moment is to grasp what a thing is missing qualitatively. The qualitative lack is something which an ideal appears as a negation of, which then an agent must make a positive creative object in relation to a negative element to effect a change.
At a workplace, in the state, or at home and in the family, a moment of insanity or negativity spurns people into hysteria. A hysteric is not always correct, of course. One could be spurned into hysteria due to their own personal foibles. However, from the ground of absolute egoism and absolute power, who exactly has the right to determine who is the hysteric, and who is the professor-doctor-master? In society, symbolic authority determines this, whether through cops, managers, or therapists with licenses, but all these symbolic authorities lack in relation to the ideal of absolute egoism or the right to pursue one’s self-interest, which exists as a rational ground of existence for all people.
One man’s hysteric is another man’s master. Whom shall ever posit the ideal successfully in relation to the structure they presume to be negative and enacts their ideal through the creation or proof in infrastructure gains power.
S9: Power via Creative Infrastructure
Who is sane? Who is insane? Who is the master of their fate? We are speaking in universals rather than in specifics, but the reason for this is that all peoples can live from a ground which is not self-contradictory who can create in relation to the negativities which afflict them. These creations may be aesthetic in nature, they may be in the form of a word or a conversation, or they may be revolutionary in quality, they may enact economic, social, political, and cultural changes.
One does not need to agree with someone to judge the success or failure of their revolution. We train our gaze to see our ideals in the world and work towards them, and to align our acts with the negation of negation, which is in turn itself always a creative act.
The creative act extends to infrastructure itself. We both create infrastructure and spy essences in infrastructure which relate to the essential ideals we hold. We can not escape from the fact that the moment when we take responsibility for our lives, we no longer simply observe negativities, we create in relation to negativities, even if that creation is simply a hysteric marking of lack within what we see. That marking comes from speech, or it can come from writing superfluous blogs on the internet. Or, that negation can be in the form of cold, consistent, lifelong, institutional intervention against the negativity that makes one a sage in relation to the flaws they see in the world. In other words, creativity comes in the form of one’s relation to Absolute Power.
