Ego Death and the End of Money
The Evolution of Evolution: Money, The State, and Psychoanalysis (part 2)
The line of analysis is substantially negative, which is to say it is less qualitatively important than the Living Idea as Spirit with which it engages with. Analysis itself exists not as an end in itself, but as a system of further understanding a second thing. Because the first thing is hierarchically prior to its own analysis, this puts it in a hierarchical relationship to analysis itself. In this way, analysis is a negative, antithetical thing to the first object.
I. Unconditioned Self-Interest (primary intuitive grasping)
In the unconditioned state, Absolute Self-Interest, money, and the labor to produce the unconscious sinthome of existence. Money and Ego’s substantial qualilties distort the Spirit of the Idea. The Living Spirit becomes self-negating in ways which no longer allow the Idea to function, possibly destroying the Idea’s ability to exist in the world.
II. Analysis (as negative and antithetical)
Through the substantial engagement of Absolute Self-Interest and money’s role in the Idea, the Spirit of the Idea becomes tested. It engages with the multiplicity of the two substantial objects of Absolute Self-Interest (The Ego and Its Hyperstate) as well as Money. This produces the Refined Positive Content of the Idea.
III. Living Spirit
An Idea is not living Spirit until it passes through the negative and inversions of itself. The Refined Positive Content becomes further Refined by engagement with antithetical forces, which may not be internal to itself. It is not the pure engagement of itself with itself, but rather the Refined Positive Content’s engagement with Actual Antithetical Ideas, The Process of Capital, as well as The Absolute Hyperstate. What remains can be said to be the Living Spirit of the Idea, the Idea which somehow made it through its antitheses. It may be lesser in force or greater in force. It may be seen as humorous or as darkly substantial.
The Idea has traveled through consciousness and has been engaged with by communities and societies, as well as The State via its representatives. The State further defines Ideas through their engagement with them via law and force. Capital further processes the Idea through its substantial force. The Idea is refined by Absolute Self-Interest of all who have existed as well as the machinic processes of Capital. Both Absolute Self-Interest (The Absolute Hyperstate) and Capital Refine Living Spirit in the form of The Ideal, in which all Ideals are measured against themselves and each other not just from internal logic, but from the Living Spirit of the world.
Why then, is Money and Ego dead? When it is acknowledged that these things are a roadmap for analysis, we can know them as not the primary substance which is being engaged with, despite those two substances being more powerful in some ways than what they engage with.
All Ideas are then born from the ashes of Money and Ego, and shown to have substantial worth.
Money and Ego are processes of exchange and stimulation, so they are excellent vectors of analysis. However, after analysis lies Phenomenology, which is to say Experience which is primary to all objects’ meaning and function in the world.
